A nationwide manufacturer has decided to decommission an automated powder coating line located in their Scranton, Pennsylvania facility.
Installed in 2000 at a cost of over 2.5 million dollars, this line has enjoyed the benefit of a strong preventative maintenance program with recent major upgrades in 2008.
The line is under power, in excellent condition, and is available for your inspection with a 24 hour notice.
The owner has drastically reduced the asking price of this system and will be accepting bids until midnight, Eastern Standard Time April 2, 2009
The sale will be conducted as follows:
- Bids will be accepted for the complete line.
- Bids will also be accepted for the individual components as listed below.
- In the event the total of the individual components exceeds the highest bid for the complete line, the owner will award the bids on the individual components.
- The system can be purchased forty eight hours before the bid deadline with a deposit and letter of intent for the agreed upon price. Asking price has been reduced to $250,000 as the line sits at the owner’s facility, Scranton Pa.
Powder Coat System Highlights
- Pre-treatment 170’ long 7-stage stainless steel JR Greene high-pressure parts washer. Each stage is independent of each other and could be separated and reduced in number if necessary.
- This line has a single pass straight line convection dry off oven, up graded in 2008
- The cure oven is a straight line, single pass convection oven, up graded in 2008 with a new 2008 up graded IR section.
- Approx. 1200' variable speed 4" Rapid I beam track conveyor with 2 drives, 2 lube systems and attached load bars.
- Two Norton Excel 2000 powder application booths with power movers and air dryer.
- 18 Nordson sure coat guns in booth #1 20 Nordson Sure Coat Automatic Guns in Booth #2 with I-Control.
- Modular EV Room, with 2 roof top air conditioner units
- Part opening is 32" wide by 132" high and designed for up to 30' long parts.
- Five cartridge recovery modules included, four with attached rotary sieves, and 7 color hoppers.
- This line is equipped with its own Waste Water Treatment Plant, designed to meet rigid environmental regulations. Included is a modular testing lab and office
- Two PCP burn off ovens
This system is set up in a straight-line configuration and can be easily modified to fit your footprint. Our installer is available to meet and answer any questions and is willing to quote the relocation of this system globally.
